This weekend I ate brunch (combining lunch and breakfast at 11:00 am) before I went grocery shopping. A larger, healthy meal full of fruits and veggies kept me in the correct frame of mind while shopping!

Maintain your weight instead of trying to lose. Eat brunch, a snack and dinner (instead of 3 meals + snacks). For brunch, have oatmeal or eggs. For a snack, have a yogurt and granola bar. For dinner, stick to chicken or fish and salads. Even if you can't exercise, at least you won't gain!
Cut yourself some slack, it is supposed to be fun! No need to spend the whole time feeling guilty. Decide in advance what to eat. Don't weigh yourself until you have been home a week. That way you will be back in your routine and any temporary weight gain will already be gone. 298
My best friend and her husband came up and took my family and I out to brunch and half of the plate was put into a to go box and I had it later on as my second meal. I also drank water and have vowed to not drink calories. I need to get my body healthy!!!!!334
At a Mother's Day brunch at work, I took a small sandwich that had turkey, swiss, lettuce, and tomato on it. I wanted to minimize my fat/calories so I removed the cheese. Not only did I remove it, I FLUSHED IT DOWN THE TOILET! For me, there was something very liberating/symbolic in doing this! :-)
