I find that eating more fruits and veggies (rather than grains or carbs) seriously affects my weight loss. I didn't lose any weight for two weeks when I was low on my fruit/veg supply, one day after eating at least 6 servings of f/v...I'm down another pound.
Eat fruit/Veg before a meal. about 15 minutes prior to a meal try eating a serving of fruits/veggies. You can have 4 servings as a sure thing if you eat some for a snack as well! I also find if I do this I tend to not eat as much at meal time.
Grab an apple, a pear, some baby carrots, or celery sticks... munch away just 15 minutes before you eat. Eat a serving at snack time and you will see your Fruit and Veg count grow- and your waistline shrink!
