Drink 8 glasses of water using color coded rubber bands
Drinking water is difficult for me. Now, to be sure I meet my 8 glass minimum, I wrap 4 rubber bands around a 16 ounce bottle of water. Color coding: 2 red (critical), 1 yellow (fair) 1 green (I did it!). Each time I finish the water, a rubber band gets moved up to the top of the bottle. I refill until 8 glasses are rubber bands are at the top of the bottle. I can see my progress and it keeps me focused.
Adding frozen raspberries also helps make the water very tasty!
Instead of just opening the back door and letting your dog outside to go, go outside with him/her. I just took my dog out and walked the yard with her. We got more snow last night so I put my boots on and walked around the yard. My dog was much more active out there and I was able to pick up a few fallen branches and put them onto our branch pile. Nothing like getting moving right away in the morning.
I find changing a few words changes your world. Like I try not to say workout but play time, fun time, time getting move, and social time(walking with a friend). I think of working with the PTball and strength training as performing and circus training. 334
