Nighttime Cinnamon-Milk Toddy

If you have trouble getting to sleep at night, try a Cinnamon-Milk Toddy!

1 cup Milk (I use Soymilk)
1 teaspoon Cinnamon-Sugar mix
1 - 2 dashes extra Cinnamon (optional, but I prefer it)

Place all ingredients in a cup or mug, microwave for 35 seconds, just enough to warm it up. Drink it down before it cools. In other words, don't sip it.

More Information:

The heated milk releases the chemical melatonin which is what helps us fall asleep. The cinnamon adds flavor and keeps the stomach settled, especially if you happen to have acid reflux or indigestion, which will make you uncomfortable and keep you from falling asleep. I sleep GREAT when I have this.
