I every week, I prepare a bag of lentils. I store them in a tupperware container in the refrigerator... that way I can scoop out a portion whenever I want :)
I use lentils instead of rice in everything! I use them as a main ingredient in patties (garden burger), curry, sloppy joes, vegan taco meat, vegan sausage, vegan meatballs, etc. High fiber, low in calories and high in protein... what's not to love? Plus, you can buy a pound for only $1 or less!
