My young daughter has been my focus of motivation. I admire her energy and ability to flit and flirt around like a little Chickadee. I said to myself, I CAN be a Chickadee too. Instead of sitting all the time feeling sorry for myself, especially when I am not able to keep up with my little girl, I started to get moving. Started with housework, then daily walks, using stairs( I live on the seventh floor) and a membership at the YMCA where my boyfriend coaches me through strength/weight training.
I am proud to say I lost 10lbs. My first hurdle. Sparks helped by providing the tools I needed to monitor my nutrition and activity levels. Find something or someone that motivates you, stick to your plan. Always remember there will be tough moments, that's how you know you are on the right path.
