Putting baking soda on a bee sting actually works!

Mix baking soda with water to form a thick paste and slap it on ASAP. "The sting is produced by an acid and if you put baking soda on as soon as you can, it neutralizes the acid.:

If you don't have don't have have baking soa, wet the effected area and rub it with an uncoated aspirin; the aspirin will help control swelling, pain, and inflammation.

Home Cure for Dry Nose

My secret home remedy for dry nose is to put a little lip balm on my finger and rub it in my nose. I have a small pot of LIP MEDIX (about a dollar in the drug store) for just this purpose.
It really makes my nose a lot less dry and itchy.
