When a physical condition stopped me from working out, I was disappointed. I tried to lower the intensity but with little success. I had hit a wall and needed a door, a way out. I found it with qi gong. I realized that I had to think outside the box to find an exercise that I could do with little pain so that I would remain consistent. It is less intense than what I was doing before, but it gets me moving and I feel good afterwards. If you hit a wall, don't give up. Look for a door.
Eating veggies will help me loose weight YES! Well as much as I know this to be true it has always bean a struggle. Who can endure the salad, salad, salad, bla, bla, bla,? Then I did a few tweaks that changed the way I think about getting my greens. I add them to wraps by the handful, replace green beans for my pasta when I'm having spaghetti, and make a veggie " chili that is packed with flavor not calories just to name a few.
Think outside the box and explore new options when it comes to the veggies you hated as a kid...zucchini, spinach, ocher, chard etc.4
