When a physical condition stopped me from working out, I was disappointed. I tried to lower the intensity but with little success. I had hit a wall and needed a door, a way out. I found it with qi gong. I realized that I had to think outside the box to find an exercise that I could do with little pain so that I would remain consistent. It is less intense than what I was doing before, but it gets me moving and I feel good afterwards. If you hit a wall, don't give up. Look for a door.
Eating veggies will help me loose weight YES! Well as much as I know this to be true it has always bean a struggle. Who can endure the salad, salad, salad, bla, bla, bla,? Then I did a few tweaks that changed the way I think about getting my greens. I add them to wraps by the handful, replace green beans for my pasta when I'm having spaghetti, and make a veggie " chili that is packed with flavor not calories just to name a few.
Think outside the box and explore new options when it comes to the veggies you hated as a kid...zucchini, spinach, ocher, chard etc.4
Use storage boxes that are easily identifiable as Christmas storage. The plastic storage containers come in all colors now. If you already have plain boxes, tape some wrapping paper to the outside where you can easily see it. Or if the boxes are plain enough have the kids draw or paint some Christmas pictures on the outside.
