My daughter suffers from multiple chemical sensitivities...and has had to purge her home of many of the chemicals most people use routinely. She washes with vinegar and baking soda with excellent results. If she does use a detergent, it is one with no dyes or perfumes(...like All Clear)

White vinegar is also a fabric softener. I use it and the dryer balls in the dryer to fluff them up. I can't hang clothes here in the condo, but I do when we are in NC.

Hi! You can add it either at the beginning of the wash or in the rinse. If you add it in the rinse, it will serve also as a fabric "softener". Either way, it will kill the odors!

The night before I lay out my gym clothes and pack my gym bag. If I don't have to work, I put my gym clothes on right away. If I do have to work I take my clothes into work to change. If I have my gym clothes on, I will go to the gym and workout. It becomes a habit and there are no excuses.
Some days I find it difficult to motivate myself to go to the gym. Instead of getting dressed in regular clothes to take my daughter to school I put on my gym clothes and shoes (even if it's an hour or two before going). It's harder to talk myself out of going if I've already gotten dressed. I know many people work, so this is not an option but you could make a point to change into your gym clothes before leaving work so you have no excuses on your way home.
