fill a pint glass (2 glasses of water) with water and drink before you do anything else. You will find that right after you wake up you are the most thirsty and can down a pint (or more!) of water very, very easily. You haven't had water for 8 hours and you body is happy to consume it! Try it and see!

The sooner you eat after getting up in the morning, the sooner your metabolism starts working, so don't put off breakfast, try to eat within 1/2 hour of waking up. You'll start burning calories that much sooner.
Be consistent! If you feel like you don't want to work out or eat healthy, do it anyways. Even if it's just a 10 minute walk, or one set of push-ups or cutting back by two bites on portion sizes, just do it. If you stay consistent, then soon it will become a habit, and soon it will be a part of your life.
