When chopping veggies, I chop way more than I need and put the rest in a ziploc bag I keep in the fridge. I put a mix of veggies (usually onions, bell peppers, and jalapenos) in the bag and shake it to mix them up. Every morning, I throw a handful in my tiny egg pan to get a serving of veggies in with my breakfast.

I sit at my desk for long periods of time so I keep a drawer full of healthy snacks like dried fruit, peanut butter and rice cakes, nuts and low-sugar natural granola bars so I don't feel tempted to break into the junk food available.
Bonus points for packing snacks (like trail mix) in single-serving size portion snack baggies so there's no guessing.
I have never been a breakfast eater. Now that I am trying to get on track with weight loss, I find that missing this meal SERIOUSLY hurts my calorie intake. This week I have already made spinach and egg white omelets and put them in baggies ready to heat in the morning. WIN for me this week! 244
Divide up snack food into correct portions ahead of time
Some snacks are healthy but very high in calories, and can sabotage your weight loss efforts if you overeat. For example, I really like the Planter's South Beach Diet Nut Mix, but one ounce is 170 calories and the can contains 10 ounces! It would be too easy to just open the can and start eating. I have bought those snack-sized baggies and as soon as I bring the can home from the grocery store, I divide it up into 10 little baggies.
I've done the same thing with other healthy snacks, such as Crunchmaster Multi-seed crackers. In fact, for me I need to do this with almost anything salty, otherwise I won't know when to stop!
