Food with trans fat is not safe even if it contains partially hydrogenated oil. Trans fat hides in fried foods & processed convenience goods such as cookies, crackers, doughnuts, & snack cakes. Eliminate trans fat from your meals and snacks to lower your total cholesterol. Many desserts, contain trans fats, so it's best to make your own desserts. Remember Trans fat raises your LDL cholesterol and lowers your HDL cholesterol.
