When you go to a Grocery Store and get a shopping cart, at the end of the Trip you are going to have to put the cart somewhere. Purposely take it all the way back into the store area, OR put it in the furthest cart vestibule you can find. Adds a few extra steps to your overall day!

Do you ever place your purse in the empty baby carrier of the shopping cart? Take an extra minute to loop and fasten the baby safety strap thru your purse strap. Now you can take your time reading those nutrition labels and give your arms and shoulder a rest. If a thief decides to grab your purse, he will have to run away with the cart as well!! ;) 148
When I go to the store, I park further away & take 1 or 2 shopping carts back to the store. When I'm finished shopping & have loaded my car, I take my basket & often others back to the store. This lowers my costs because it reduces shopping cart damage & labor costs, which are ultimately passed on to the consumers, & prevents door dings, which lower auto resale values & raise ins rates. Pushing a couple of shopping carts is more effort than just walking, which burns more calories.
