I took a shirt out of the washer and noticed a stain that I had forgotten to spray with stain remover. Since I keep my laundry basket in my closet I decided to keep my bottle of stain remover in the closet and spray my clothes when I put them in the laundry. This may be a nobrainer for some but it was a light bulb moment for me.

My daughter has a pair of white pants that had some mysterious stains on them and nothing she tried including bleach would remove the stains. Then I remembered that I had some Zep mold & mildrew stain remover In the house. I sprayed some on the stains and like magic the stains disappeared.
Dawn dish washing liquid is the best grease and stain remover for washable clothing. I put the liquid on every stain on my clothing and rub in with top of bottle. Then, I place the hamper to wash later. Treating old grease stains works for me too.
Fels Naptha is the best laundry stain remover I have EVER found and it is dirt cheap! It comes in a bar soap with a white paper wrapper and costs a dollar at Walmart. I have used it to successfully take out makeup, grass stains, and all kinds of other crud.
