To cut back on carbs in the summer, I use zucchini sliced the long way. Put in sandwich fillings like tuna or roast turkey slices, I just pick it up as if it was bread. I discovered that when i was told I was allergic to wheat. I used it as bread for sandwiches but it does reduce carbs too.
Iceberg lettuce leaves or Bibb lettuce makes a great wrap too. Even for hamburgers ot hot dogs.
