We buy bottled water, so at the start of each day I put 4 bottles of water on my side kitchen counter, whch is equal to 8 glasses. I try to have mini goals in mind, such as by lunch I should be going for the 2nd bottle, by mid afternoon the 3rd and by dinner time the last one. I often find myself getting a 5th bottle out after dinner. I also find I drink more water when I pour it into a cup.

At the 99 cent store over in the next city from where I live, they sell these containers for water. They advertise this container should be enough for our daily intake of water (8 cups? glasses?). It makes things easier for me. I drink all of it, and I'm assuming I'm getting my needed water. Purchase is only 99 cents :)
Every night I fill four 16 - ounce bottles with filtered water and place in the refrigerater. My water is always cold and I can grab one when I go wlking. This makes it easy for me to track my water intake. (I live in Arizona, so I usually have a few extra bottles on hand.)194
