I make my own low fat, low sodium, vegetable soup stock and freeze it to use later. Some of it I freeze in icecube trays and then instead of using oil to cook I just add a couple of these cubes. By using these I add lots of flavour, but very few calories!

I received silicon muffin pans for my wedding, and instead of using them to bake, I use them like big ice cube trays for food. When I have leftovers, like soup or beans, I freeze it in the pans, then when it is frozen, I put the "cubes" into a labeled freezer bag. Then, when someone wants a serving, they can just remove how much they want and heat it. I also freeze broth, pizza sauce, spaghetti sauce, juice, etc.
I also make muffin batter, and freeze this in the silicone muffin tin lined with a paper muffin liner. Then, when I want to bake the muffins, I just put them in a metal muffin pan, still frozen, and bake.
