Whenever I come home from dining out. I immediately weigh and measure the leftovers and store them in the fridge in portion controlled containers. This way when I go to eat them I know they are already the right amount and it keeps me from overeating. This also makes lunch for work quick and easy as I can just grab a container and go!

Living alone, when I cook I usually have prepared way more than I can/should eat at one time. Instead of storing the leftovers in one big storage container, it is helpful for me to spoon out correct portions into smaller containers so I can just grab them and go in the morning, and then not have to worry about portion control at lunch!
