Have a Summer Barbecue - Picnic - Cookout survival plan ready to go when those weekend events hit your schedule. Just because we are outdoors, those chips and dips do not have less calories. Try not to go to a picnic hungry. And if you know the menu ahead of time, plan your picnic in your daily planner. One hot dog and roll with toppings can easily be a full meal's worth of calories. All this being said, enjoy the SUMMER!!

When I know I'm going out to eat or (since it's nearly summer) to a cookout and I may splurge, I step up the intensity of my workout or go that extra 20-30 minutes BEFORE I go. I use those extra calories burned for my splurges (drinks or a yummy dessert or whatever!)
Extra exercise for me could be as simple as adding an extra mile to my planned run or stepping up my intensity in muay thai. 216
