Consider adding fresh fruits like strawberries, blueberries, apples, or grapes. Mixing in blue, feta, or goat cheese is a great way to add flavor & protein, or turn any salad into a main meal with the addition of shrimp, chicken, sliced steak, avocados, olives, or toasted nuts. Washed Kindney Beans, Black Beans or chickpeas add fiber. 5 Fat Free Croutons for crunch or 1Tbs. of Oscar Mayer Real Bacon Bits. Use cottage cheese to top off the salad or a low calorie fat free dressing. Mix it up!
