Yesterday I discovered that after I make a meal I tend to pick at the food all day/night after I'm already done eating. So instead of doing that, I just put the leftovers away right away and saved myself unwanted calories!

Chewing gum in between meals help to keep me from picking at food. I know that when I take it out of my mouth I will have to throw it away if I eat something so I keep it in my mouth until it's time for my meal or snack that way if I'm in the kitchen with stuff I can pick at I tell myself no cause I'll have to throw my gum away so it steers me away from putting stuff in my mouth thats not necessary and it keeps my teeth clean also!
