Let’s see—you need milk, eggs…and something to replace the stark white memo board that’s sucking all the style from your otherwise charming kitchen. Frame a pretty piece of fabric or paper, then write temporary to-dos on the glass with a dry-erase marker.

Okay, I don't literally write on the wall. However, I do write my weight weekly on the mirror of my bathroom as well as a monthly waist and "gut" measurements. Since the bathroom is where I begin my day, it is a good reminder of the progress made and a motivator to stay on track.
All you need is a mirror or perhaps a dry erase board and markers to use.
I made a little "motivational" dry erase "board." I took a dollar store frame, painted it, framed a coordinating piece of pretty paper, and hung it by my bedroom mirror. Every week I change what it says to congratulate myself on something. It keeps me motivated and focusing on the positive instead of anything I might do that week that's not in line with my goal. :-)
OOPS!!! USED PERMANENT MARKER ON DRY ERASE BOARD!!
I PICKED UP THE WRONG MARKER AND USED IT ON THE DRY ERASE WHITE BOARD!!! THE FIX----I WENT TO THE MEDICINE CABINET AND GOT A ALCOHOL PAD AND IT TOOK THE SO CALLED PERMANENT INK RIGHT OFF AND THE WHITE ERASE BOARD IS AS GOOD AS NEW.
