This week i found that if I eat a salad for dinner it not only ensures that I eat my veggie servings for the day, it also discourages evening munchies. I think I feel so healthy that it keeps me from ruining the night by mindlessly snacking on cheese its! Just be sure to include a protein in there to help make you feel full even longer.
My favorite salad: Chicken Cobb (feeds 4) 2 grilled chix breasts, cubed 2 slices turkey bacon 2 hardboiled eggs, quartered 4 cups Romaine 6 grape tomatoes 1/2 avocado, diced Mix dressing: 1 tbl lemon juice, 2 tbl EVOO, toss with salt, pepper Cal 289, fat 16, net carb 2.5, protein 32
