Pick just one small thing you want to change and then ...just do it.
Habits are built slowly over time. If you try a whole bunch of new changes at once, you're not likely to keep any of them. Pick just one small thing you want to change and work on it until it's second nature, even if it's something as small as brushing teeth or getting out of bed.
Choose one mini-goal to complete every day. Drink one more 8-ounce glass of water than you did yesterday OR add one extra serving of veggies than you did yesterday OR put in 10 minutes of exercise before lunch (even if it is walking up and down the stairs in 1-2 minute intervals for a total of
10 minutes). Doing one small thing and doing one small thing every day will help you form healthy habits. Keep doing small things every day, and you will realize that you are making healthy habits that help you lose weight, have more energy, and have that healthy glow about you.
Make and Complete One Healthy Choice , and then another, and another...
When it seems like there is just "too much to do," take one deep breath. Then choose one small thing to do and complete every day. Then do the same small thing the next day, and add one more healthy choice. Keep doing the previous small things, and soon you will have created many healthy habits!
