This is more of a question. What do you do if you are losing more than you goal. My doctor gave me an estimate of what I should weigh. My goal is the middle weight. I'm about 5 pounds below that. I eat right and exercise regularly. Kay

If that's where your body wants to be, let it be happy. The ranges are based on averages across thousands of people, which is great if you're thousands of people... but you're not. You're you.

I went 5 pounds below my goal and use that as "wiggle room". When I begin to creep up to my goal weight, I go veg for a while and usually get back to that 5 pound mark quickly.

Thanks for your advice. I am not depriving myself of any foods, except for unhealthy foods. Some foods just aren't food for us. Kay

Good question. I am not sure what I would do. I think it might depend on how many pounds I have to go before I am "underweight" based on the doctors advise. Have you increased your calorie range?

Are you maintaining at 5 lbs below or are you still losing? If you are maintaining, leaving that as wiggle room may work for you. (And as you get older, you're calorie needs continue to drop - sorry, I don't know how old you are) If you are still losing, then you really should add a serving of something to see if that slows or stops your loss.

If you feel great where you are then good for you. I am hoping that once i reach my goal I want to keep it a 12 lbs range to have wiggle room as it is so easy for me to gain weight but so hard to take it off.

How do you feel about where you are? If it feels right, go with it.
