Up early; terrible traffic; rough day at the office; more traffic; exam in Geology evening class... only to discover I'd locked my keys in the car before going into class!! Called DH for rescue pickup & used those 30 mins to walk around the parking lot instead of fuming. Result-BETTER ATTITUDE!
Sure, I could have wallowed in my bad day and negative feelings, but where would that have gotten me? As it was, I was able to get my 3 miles in for the day - a personal goal - and felt pretty good about my use of time. We can do this, we just have to WANT this.
i had tried many ways to keep tabs of my keys not mention from losing in my purse. First tried adding stuffed animal to key ring to clip on things. Helped but not perfect. Finally got a blue purse made up now lots of pockets and a belt section so i now added a coiled plastic wrist band to key ring when getting out of car run wrist band thru belt loop around animal locked on then push keys down into the front pocket now they are always found in my purse
the lockers at the leisure centre cost 20p to lock. I put my clothes in an empty one and don't lock it because I have no valuables with me. I walk there so no car keys, wear my watch and who cares if my shampoo goes missing! It saves me almost a pound a week
