I am not dieting, I have a certain amount of calories a day, I eat 5-6 small meals a day but I do eat what I want if I want pizza I buy a one serving pizza and cut it in half with a piece of fruit and I am happy, or I buy the fatfree hotdogs, put them on diet bread for two it is 150 calories for bread and hotdogs so I am not neglecting what I want

When I started to get healthy with my eating, I would go crazy when my partner didn't want to eat the things I did. He'd cringe over vegetables, wanted a hamburger instead of a black bean burger, and wouldn't go near fruit and veggie smoothies. After exhausting myself with trying to force my partner to take on my new habits, I just let go, did my own thing, and let him eat what he wanted.
After a while, he even showed interest in healthy eating because of my motivation! So, show by example, not just talking.
I started sparkpeople about a week ago and went from 175 lbs to 167 lbs eating everything I wanted and with tracking the calories knew i was losing weight. PORTION taught me on day 1 that i could still have what I wanted but just not so much.
