Believe it or not, not everything has to get done today, and some things...not at all. Be honest with yourself and label those things "Not A Priority" and shoot them straight to the bottom of your to-do list, or dispense with them altogether.
I got this from a Franklin Covey seminar and it's probably the most liberating thing I've learned.
I keep a small notebook with me and write down through out the day the things I am doing right, the things that makes me happy and the things I learned about myself. At the end of the day, I read it and let my brain register the me I really am.
