Here are some books I recommend. Even if they aren't specific to your goals, they contain excellent information about what it takes to lose weight.

1. Weight Watchers' Coach Approach
2. Weight Watcher's "Weight Stages: Successfully Manage your Weight through Life's Ups and Downs"
3. Jillian Michaels' "Master your Metabolism"
4. Jillian Michaels' "Making the Cut"
5. Jillian Michaels' "Winning by Losing"

When we go out to eat, I hit my laptop and see if the restaurant has a website. I check out their menu and mentally plan what I will order. If there isn't a "site" menu, I check whatever seems closest. Most places offer large portions so I let the waitress know ahead of time that I will need a box.

I have all of Jillian Michaels books and I have learned a lot from her. I have heard medical experts say that she is on the right track on her book writings. Her "Master your Metabolism" cook book is great. I can't wait to get her new book "Unlimited". She has motivated me from the show "Biggest Loser", I watch an episodes of the show before I go to workout. Can't wait to see her on The Doctors and The Dr. Phil Show, where in Sept., she will be a regular on these shows. You can't go wrong with following her advice. Good Luck on your journey.
