If you want a gooey dessert or a delicious steak dinner Its perfectly ok to indulge yourself every so often but moderation is key. If you have that dessert or big dinner just modify your meals for the rest of the day or the next or walk afterwards to burn some of it off. Even if you don't do those things in the end its still better to indulge a little now instead of engorge yourself later from depriving yourself.... enjoy that cake! emoticon

    I've been trying to follow what you said in this "Secret to Success". I've lost weight over and over through the years but have never been able to maintain my weight loss. By not going 'hog wild' but just enjoying a little bit of whatever I want is what I strive for now. Thanks for this "secret".

    I believe that is so true, when you stick to a plan and give in once in awhile, you are less likely to want to eat more of it..

    I followed that advice (and believe it is good) but yikes when I found out how many calories that slice of double chocolate cake had! I was not as "conscious" as I needed to be to cut it in half or just ask for a bite of my husbands! Largest calorie day I've had since starting my "program" in October 2010.
