Once you reach your goal weight, continue to track your nutrition. I lost weight using Sparkpeople a few years ago and then after doing so, stopped tracking my food. Most of the weight came back. I've learned my lesson. I'm where I want to be but will keep tracking my nutrition and regularly weigh myself so hopefully I won't put the weight back on.

    The tracker is wonderful! Really keeps me on track but I thought i am becoming too dependant on it. maybe not - its a good tool and I can use it as long as I need.

    I've found this secret to be true for myself as well. The tracker is part of my daily ritual. I also watch the nutrients and it is a great record to have. In the past when I've lost weight, I gradually slid back into my old bad habits...tracking keeps me aware.

    As the survivor of a total gastrectomy I have found that carefully tracking my nutrition each day helps me to be aware of what my nutrtion status of all the vital key nutrients is. More or less maintaing weight but with the tracker I have a running record in case my doctor has questions about what I have been doing. Helps me to tweak and adjust supplements as well.
