Keep a stack of old hand towels in your vehicle. Then when anyone is drinking or eating, make sure you have one handy. On the laps of little kids, it will keep crumbs in 1 place. If the coffee cup spills, it's simple to quickly absorb the liquid with the towel.

    My husband reduces messes by not eating in his car, then loves it when he can enjoy eating in my car! I'm on the road 25,000+ miles per year. I have to eat in my car. I pickup my granddaughter for karate at 9:45 on Saturdays and find that no one has fed her. I bring along a peanut butter sandwich for her to eat on the way.
