I work on the 1st floor of my building, but I use the restroom on the 3rd floor. On the way back to my office, I stop to walk a lap around the 2nd floor. According to my pedometer, this route takes me 600 steps--540 more than if I use the restroom closest to me on the 1st floor!

I work as a sales clerk in a store , and to sneak in some extra steps while at work ,I have moved the behind- the- counter trash can further away from where it used to be .This makes me take two extra steps to get to it after each transaction, as our customers usually never want their reciept and it gets thrown away .This has been adding an average of 150 extra steps to my daily count.Extra steps add up !Keep moving any way you can !311
