I am someone who needs morning coffee like I need air, but rather than grabbing a cup on my way to work or class I bought a home coffee maker and started saving instantly. The coffee pot paid for itself in under 2 weeks of not purchasing coffee on the go plus I'm not being wasteful since I am no longer using paper and plastic disposable cups from vendors.

I did my first 5K ever a couple weeks ago and I did a lot better than I thought I would because I haven't ran more than 1.5-2miles ever! While training on my treadmill I was doing it in 45min at 4mph. So when I did it in 37 min 10 sec I was psyched! And a photo company was there and they captured the moment I crossed the finish line!!! It was such a great moment for me! On their website I was able to purchase a mug with that picture on it.
So now every morning I have my coffee and am super motivated to keep it up!!
Whenever I eat protein, like a soy patty or lean turkey sausage, with my bkfst, as opposed to whole grain cereal/oatmeal and fruit, I am fuller and more satisfied longer. Both types of meals are still 300 calories, but I am more satisfied with protein. It helps me stay on track.
