Schedule regular house cleaning tasks and spread them out across the week. "High dust" on Monday (dust crevices, pictures, ceiling fans), "Low dust" on Tuesday (baseboards, furniture, electronics), vacuum on Wednesday, bathroom #1 on Thursday, bathroom #2 on Friday...this sets an achievable schedule, and you don't have to spend hours cleaning on a weekend.
