I have had a lousy weekend after coming down with a nasty stomach bug. The entire time I was lousy, I kept thinking about what I should eat. The reality is that we have to do what we need for good health. Don't forget the BRAT diet--bananas, rice, applesauce, toast. It will get you through!! (It's not only for our kids!)

I was so sick on Tuesday night that I couldn't keep anything down. I lay down. Most of today I lay down as well. Sometimes, the best thing to do when you are sick is to lay down until you get to feeling better. I was able to do a little bit of exercise tonight.
Not that I'd really recommend it but sometimes the kick in the butt you need is to get really sick. I got sick recently to the point of almost dying and my body pretty much made me start trying to get healthier. Its even rejecting some unhealthy things like pop from it. I used to drink at least a can or two a day and now I've not been able to drink pop in almost a week. I've been literally craving water and having to drink non-stop because I get so dehydrated every few hours.
Being very sick can literally be the solution you need to become healthier.
