I wish I could like this a million times. Our local VA Hospital has a Memorial 5K that I will be doing this year, I will be trotting for all who have served, all who have sacrificed, and all who have survived.
Bless YOU for posting this, we tend to get caught up in 'holiday' and often forget the reason behind them.

God, please bless all those who serve now, have served, and will serve in the future. We are so fortunate to have these brave warriors willing to make the ultimate sacrifice so that we may live in this free country and have the rights to the pursuit of life, liberty and happiness. May we never forget their actions and always be grateful for and proud of them! I include here my husband (navy),son (air force), brother (army), uncles, father, father-in-laws, and grandfather. Thank you all from the bottom of my heart!
