Instead of rewarding yourself for results on the scale which can lead to disappointment, why not reward yourself for your healthy behaviors? Give yourself a reward for consistency, for eating right, drinking water, or sticking with an exercise plan

We tend to look to the scale for a sense of achievement, but there are many reasons why the scale might not reflect our hard work. Reward the things you DO have control over, such as what you eat, drink, and how much you work out.

    I do the same thing! If I have a week of particularly good workouts (no matter what the scale reads), I like to go on a little shopping trip. Nothing big, but I just get something that looks good and shows to me that I'm worth it.
