I use my 2 y/o to help me get in daily exercising. How? While cleaning or playing we usually turn on some tunes. She loves dancing. So I dance along with her. I try to make it ever more challenging by mimicking her dance moves. We do this between chores, sometimes 15 to 20 minutes at a time!
I spend more and more time worrying about the little things, when I should really look at what I have. Two great kids, who are my biggest motivators to eat better, do more and relax and play games with them. I keep finding myself wondering what I would do without them, and the answer is simple NOTHING! I keep going because my kids keep going.
I also find it easier to play kickball and run the bases a few times a to keep my energy up all the while playing with my kids at the same time
When I'm destined to clean the house, I put on my favorite music play lists and dance my fat off while cleaning. Why not use that duster as your microphone! Be silly, and get a clean house in the long run!
