Log in to SP every day and go immediately to Sparkpoints to spin the wheel, then enter your food, exercise and other goals for the day. Then read encouraging blogs from others and you've started the day right.
Seeing your weight go down and your Sparkpoints go up is a great motivator.

One thing you can do to help you get used to SparkPeople is to go to My Tools at the top left side of the page. Move your cursor over it and a drop down menu appears. Find My SparkPoints toward the bottom of the column. From there you can see all of the ways to earn SparkPoints. By clicking any of these choices you can not only earn SparkPoints but also learn about different aspects of SparkPeople and what it has to offer.
Read an insider tip, write a blog, read SP blogs and articles, track your food and fitness, search the web, make an appointment, leave a message on the message board, look for a sparkrecipe to try out, track other goals, update your status, etc.
Making sure to go on sparkpeople everyday and go down the list of Sparkpoints keeps me doing the things that are best for me! I track what needs to be tracked, interact with my support community, and learn something new everyday!
