I have problems w/ gym commitment so I found an exercise routine that I love & can commit to. Pole dancing is the ultimate workout. you use all muscle groups at one time while dancing & finding your inner sexy! The room was filled w/ women (only) from all ages groups, shapes & sizes. we had a blast!
No equipment needed if you find a gym like crunch or a dance studio that offers this class. You will forget you are working out & go all out; the next morning you will feel the burn ;). There are other classes like lap dance too. will also increase your flexibility

My friends still tease me about this, but I swear it is by far the BEST WORKOUT OF MY LIFE! The place I found, Pole Fit, focuses on the "gymnastics" side of pole dancing, so it's good clean fun (we're not learning how to be strippers). It's so rewarding, because each class you can obviously tell you are getting better. Ex: (first class) Couldn't do the fireman spin at the beginning of class, by the end I could. You build muscle so quickly, and it almost instantly tones all over your body :)
A friend invited me to a pole aerobics class last week and I was very skeptical as I related the pole to stripper at a gentlemen's club. Not in this case, however! It was a lot of fun and an incredible workout. I have now taken a new outlook. I will try something new before I say whether or not I like it. Next stop is a hip hop dance class!30
