For me, I've found that the phrase "easy does it" applies to weight loss.
Don't let the perfect be the enemy of the good. Go very very slowly and know that everything you do is better than what you used to do. Continually push yourself (lightly!) to be a little bit healthier here and there.
I switched from regular mayo to light Miracle whip with a fraction of the calories and I can't taste the difference.

Lower calorie bread tastes just as good! Try Nature's Own, they have a white bread thats low in cals and tastes just as good.
Sara Lee's Iron Kids White Bread has only 111 calories for 2 slices! I love bread and I am getting tired of the bread rounds. It is a amazing how many calories are in one slice of bread. You really have to read every label. This appears to be the lowest calorie for regular bread you can find.
