During a study in Japan, researchers concluded athat a high consumption of dietary vitamin B6 and vitamin B12 were associated with reduced risk of death from stroke, coronary heart disease, and heart failure. Excellent sources of vitamin B6 include beef, poultry, fish, and eggs. Other foods that are high in B6 vitamin are whole grains, fortified cereals, nuts, beans, bananas, & potatoes. Older people should ask about having their B vitamin levels tested by their doctor. Diabetics can be low
