Keep a daily or weekly gratitude journal to keep track of the goodness in your life. Start today ~ right now ~ and jot down something you appreciate and are grateful for! Do this at least once a week and put the date next to your entry.

Don't over think this! Grab a piece of paper or your computer and start the list now. I've been doing this for two years and when I need a lift, I read the entries and draw on the knowledge that my life is filled with so much to appreciate from my favorite cup of coffee to my beautiful grandsons.

    Yup, love this. Esp. When I'm feeling down about things, if I write down just 3-5 things I'm grateful for 3 days straight, I will find that my moods have shifted

    This really does work - writing it down, even (maybe especially) when I'm feeling depressed or tired.
