I use celery sticks for dipping into salsa, creamy cheese dips, etc at restaurants where chips are normally provided. Just take a baggie of them with you. I also take celery sticks to functions with the dip so others can see the healthy option. Recently, I didn't have any with me, and asked the restaurant for big leafy lettuce to use as a wrap for artichoke dip! It was awesome! Create your own healthy option!

I suffer from terrible cravings late at night! I was looking for acceptable snacks, and I came across someone who suggested celery as a salty snack. I am certain it was a joke... however, I gave it some thought and started dipping celery sticks into a mixture of Salt and spices. It just takes a little to satisfy the craving, without putting a potato chip or pretzels behind that salt!
Now for sweets....can anyone think of something harmless that can be dipped into honey?
Celery and peanut butter is a very healthy snack, just spread it on there and its filling. But i found that if you put just a tablespoon of pb in a bowl and microwave it, you can just dip the celery in there and use a lot less peanut butter, which means a lot less calories + fat. AWWW YEAHHHH see what i did there.
Love peanut butter? Then you'll know how a serving as a snack/dip doesn't seem like much. I found that if I microwave 1 Tbsp of natural peanut butter for 30 seconds, the warmth thins out the consistency and makes it seem more like 2 Tbsp, but with half the fat and cals. It lasts much longer for dipping with apples, celery, pears, bananas... sometimes I even toss in 1 tsp of mini chocolate chips for an extra special treat!
