I have a friend who works the night shift (I work evening). When she comes in we discuss how we're doing, our frustrations & successes. When I don't feel like doing our 1mile walking tape before I leave, she pushes me. I do the same for her! We get more done & feel better every day! We have a pact to alternate taking responsibility for motivating each other every shift change!! It's working great!!
Pick something in your life that you aren't fond of - a bad habit. Commit to NOT doing it for ONE week or one time depending on the habit. I ALWAYS do popcorn at the movie. Like me? Go to one movie and take some fruit that'll last-cut up apple, orange-and some bottled water. You'll be so proud of yourself and you will realize taht these bad habits don't have the hold on you that you think they do. Keep going-skip the crackers and wine you have each weekend. You WILL surprise yourself!!!
