No success? Try working out at intervals! You can spend hours on the treadmill, but after twenty minutes, you stop burning fat and START burning muscle! Yikes. Instead, do intense cardio for one minute and then slow it down for another minute until your twenty minutes is up; it burns more fat that way, anyway!

I've NEVER been a runner, not even as a teen. I'm not inactive though, but exercise has never seemed to have the magic effect it is supposed to on my body.
Then I discovered Couch to 5K (C25K). I downloaded some podcasts, and then invested $3 in an app (Get Running). 7 weeks of exercising 3 times a week (25-30 minutes), and I have progressed from gasping after 1 minute of running to being able to go for 30! The amount of calories burned is amazing, and my body looks much better already!
Join one of the C25K groups for advice and much-needed and appreciated support from fellow runners.
