Even living with diabetes takes practice in making healthy choices every day. I have succeeded in living with diabetes without medications (at one point I was taking 3 diabetes meds), and the only way I can stay off meds is to practice every day: 94 ounces of water, eating 6 small meals, and at
least 30 minutes of cardio (working my way up from walking to jogging), strength training 3-4 times a week, portion control, surrounding myself with positive people, tracking food, & reading Spark People articles & member blogs. I will always be a diabetic even without meds, so I must practice.
