After working out, I start cooking my brown rice before I jump in the shower. By the time I'm done with my shower, the rice is about half cooked and which leaves about the perfect amount of time to finish cooking the rest of the meal. (Meat and vegetables)

If I'm exercising at home I put my brown rice on to cook and then go exercise to a Leslie Sansone DVD. I can run to the kitchen to turn the burner down and continue exercising while the rice is finishing up on low heat. Don't say you don't have time to make brown rice. Don't say you don't have time to exercise. Just do both at the same time! Make enough brown rice for several days.
I was always making white rice because I didn't want to wait for brown rice to cook. I bought an electric rice cooker. Now I start the brown rice first, and by the time the rest of the meal is complete, the rice is too.
Brown rice takes so long to cook. Well, cook a whole bag at one time. Then using a muffin tin fill each and put the entire thing in the freezer. Once frozen remove each rice "cup" and seal them in a freezer bag. When you want brown rice, just pop one in the microwave for about 2 minutes and it's done!
