Measuring My Margarine!



I like to have margarine on toast and the kinds I prefer are SMART BALANCE Light @50 cals per tbsp or I Can't Believe It 's Not Butter Light @ 80 per tbsp. To help assist me in not overdoing w/ the fats,I use a large spoon or a measured tbsp.[tablespoon] to put my margarine in BEFORE I spread it on toast . This has helped me TREMENDOUSLY as I know exactly how much I have used & can count the amt of cals. on my Nutrition Tracker .If I have any unused portion of margarine ...

I keep it on the spoon refrigerated for the next usage. I have learned to cut down my fats somewhat using this method,but most importantly for me is to SEE how MUCH I am PORTIONING of my fats so I don't overdo!
